Meet the Boss!
Elena Celona is the founder and CEO of Consider This Training. Elena founded Consider This Training in 2007 and has been there to assist hundreds of students and graduates as they forge exciting new careers. Elena is a favourite amongst the students as she maintains a direct role in training and administration.
Our Facilitators
Michelle San Jose holds a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology (social, psychological and biological aspects of aging) and Diploma of Applied Nursing. These qualifications, coupled with her extensive experience in the aged and disability fields, make her a talented and knowledgeable trainer for our aged and disability courses. Michelle’s hobbies include music and reading, with much of her time spent raising her young son.
Penny Votzourakis has worked in many senior roles in the retail industry for over 25 years. These roles were at the iconic Australian company Figgins Holdings owner of the Evelyn Miles and Shoobiz brands amongst other and of late the Swiss luxury global brand Bally. This experience has given her a unique insight into human behavior. Penny applies her knowledge to achieve positive results from sales people and managers and, most importantly, to create an environment where customers can experience the highest level of service. Penny has a great belief that everyone has the potential to be great at whatever they choose; it takes great individuals with vision, passion, tools and resources to unlock it. After a successful career in Retail Penny now coaches, teaches and advises other people how to achieve the same success. Penny has her accreditation in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is in the process of completing her Diploma in Life Coaching.
Mia Montagliani is a small business owner with training and experience in marketing and sales strategies. Mia facilitates business courses at Consider This Training, as she has a passion for self-development and education. Mia currently holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Master of Laws (International Commercial Law) & Bachelor of Arts (Honours). Mia is currently completing a Diploma in Life Coaching and a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour & Training.
Karen Auchettl enjoys working as a workplace trainer in retail. Karen has many years’ experience in the retail as well as the human resources arena. Karen has also worked as a Business Development Manager. Karen has a strong customer service focus, which she enjoys imparting to her students. Karen holds a Certificate IV in Worklpace Training & Assessment, Diploma of Business, Certificate III in Retail, Certificate III in Hospitality and has a studied professional coffee making.
Ellen Gibb has worked in various industries in Australia and overseas including the BBC, leading Newspapers and Magazines in London, as Sales Consultant with the Trading Post. Ellen has worked as a Disability Support Worker for the last 6 years and is passionate about supporting and facilitating Self-determination along with Participation and Inclusion for people with a disability along with the legislation that underpins the Victorian Governments leading the way with the Quality Framework. Ellen believes that whatever your work or life experience gained is a definite contribution towards a fulfilling role as a Disability Support Worker.
Ellen has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and is committed to a holistic and fun approach to training and achieving your Certificate IV in Disability Work. Her varied interests are Arabic Drumming, Indian Classical Dancing, Gothic Fusion Belly Dancing and Music.
Paul Landy is an industry professional in retail and hospitality and has had many years experience as a business owner in the retail, franchise and food processing sector. Paul holds Certificate 1V Workplace Training and Assessment, Diploma Hospitality amongst other qualifications. He has trained locally and overseas in China and loves imparting his skills and knowledge to young people starting their careers. Paul looks forward to helping all his students achieve their personal goals.
Our Administration
Georgie Blennerhassett is a valued stalwart at Consider This Training! Georgie has been our finance controller since the beginning and has had the privilege of watching our business grow. Georgie has completed an Associate Diploma in Business and has many years’ experience in the finance industry.
Georgie divides her time between Consider This Training and bringing up her two fantastic boys.
Mia Montagliani is our National Marketing Manager.
Jamil Ahmed is our National Account Manager. Jamil was a student with us in Business Certificate III. Jamil holds a Certificate III in Hospitality and Certificate III in Business and has two years’ experience in retail.
