Course Description
- Apply knowledge and skills gained through qualifications and/or previous experience to provide training and support to people with disabilities to enhance their ability to achieve greater levels of independence, self reliance and community participation
- Report to service managers and may liaise with health professionals and other service agencies
- May work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a limited number of lower classified workers.

- CHCCS413A Support individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- CHCDIS411A Communicate using augmentative and alternative communications strategies
- CHCDIS404C Design procedures for support
- CHCDIS405A Facilitate skills development and maintenance
- CHCDIS410A Facilitate community participation and inclusion
- CHCICS402A Facilitate individualised plans
Course Length
Classes are usually held over 20 weeks, with classes being held during weekends or evenings. That way, you won’t need to miss your day job or school. Our classes are interactive, fun and our trainers are there to help you.

Cost
Funded students only invest $157.00 (administration fee). For other students, the investment is only $1597.00.

Our Location
Our courses are delivered face to face. This means you will have the opportunity to attend classes and be taught by professional trainers who have experience in this industry. All courses are held at 66-68 Dudley Street, West Melbourne (located close to transport and shops).
Our training facility has the latest in care equipment so you will gain relevant experience using the right equipment.
